CMA CGM has upgraded its service rail in Germany to serve the Ruhr region, in particular Duisburg and vicinity.
This comes one month after CMA CGM announced a new dedicated rail service connecting Valencia with the industrial and logistics zone of Murcia in Spain.
According to CMA CGM, the product Duisburg Express Rail Shuttle offers the following advantages as of July 2023:
- Shuttle train Rotterdam > Duisburg D3T > Rotterdam
- Three weekly departures from/ to RWG, ECT Delta / HPH 2 with transit time within one day
- Connections with 16 line services covering the core regions Asia, Europe, ISC MEG and Americas
In June 2023, CMA CGM made several updates to its shipping services, including the rescheduling of its Turkey Med Express 1.2 service (TMX1.2), and new rotation of its BSMAR service connecting Black Sea and Turkey with Spain and Morocco.
