CMA CGM announces new route connecting Black Sea and Turkey with Spain and Morocco

CMA CGM has announced the new rotation of its BSMAR service connecting Black Sea and Turkey with Spain and Morocco.

This service will go into effect from 14 July.

The announcement comes two months after CMA CGM launched its new land transport service through Lekki Port in Nigeria.

According to CMA CGM, the new features of BSMAR will be the following:

  • Fleet: five vessels x three 550 TEU
  • Frequency: Weekly – 35-day rotation
  • Rotation: Constanta – Ambarli – Aliaga – Malta – Valencia – Algeciras – Casablanca – Tanger Med – Malta – Piraeus – Gebze – Constanta

This month, CMA CGM reported the revamping of its Euronaf service covering West Med, Tanger hub and Algerian ports by combining four loops instead of two.

Additionally, CMA CGM announced a rescheduling of its Turkey Med Express 1.2 service (TMX1.2), which will include Gebze, Turkey in the rotation as well as Djen Djen, Algeria in place of Bejaia.
