CMA CGM updates its West Med, Tanger hub and Algerian ports service

CMA CGM has announced the revamping of its Euronaf service covering West Med, Tanger hub and Algerian ports by combining four loops instead of two.

This comes after CMA CGM introduced its new seasonal weekly service Turkey Libya Express (TLX) connecting Asia with Turkey, Libya and Red Sea.

The four Euronaf service loops will be the following:

Loop 1 | Malta-Marseille-Bejaia

  • Fleet: three 1,700 TEU vessels
  • Frequency: weekly – 21-day rotation
  • Rotation: Malta – Marseille – Bejaia – Malta

Loop 2 | Barcelona-Oran

  • Fleet: one 850 TEU vessel and one 1,700 TEU vessel
  • Frequency: weekly – 14-day rotation
  • Rotation: Barcelona – Oran – Barcelona

Loop 3 | Genoa-Marseille-Alger

  • Fleet: two 1,300 TEU vessels
  • Frequency: weekly – 14-day rotation
  • Rotation: Genoa – Marseille – Alger – Genoa

Loop 4 | West Med-North Africa

  • Fleet: three 1,100 TEU vessels
  • Frequency: weekly, 21-day rotation
  • Rotation: Livorno – Genoa – Marseille – Barcelona – Tanger – Oran – Mostaganem – Livorno

This month, CMA CGM announced the new NC Levant service setup connecting North Europe with the East Med/Levant area.

Additionally, following heavy congestion in the Port of Mersin, CMA CGM announced the modification of its NC Levant Express service connecting North Europe with East Med/Levant area.
