CMA CGM introduces new TLX service connecting Asia with Turkey

CMA CGM has introduced its new seasonal weekly service Turkey Libya Express (TLX) connecting Asia with Turkey, Libya and Red Sea.

This comes three months after CMA CGM Group announced the introduction of a new direct service, named Bangladesh India Gulf Express (BIGEX).

The service will be fully operated by CMA CGM and follow the rotation:

Shanghai – Ningbo – Nansha – Singapore – Jeddah – Iskenderun – Malta – Misurata – Jeddah – Port Klang – Shanghai.

According to the company, this is the sole service that offers direct calls at Iskenderun with a large offering of intermodal solutions to and from the Turkish hinterland.

The service includes weekly sailings from Central and South China to Jeddah, with connections to the growing Red Sea market, including Neom.

The launch date for this service is scheduled for 1 July in Shanghai, with the MV BUXLINK.

In April 2023, CMA CGM has announced the launch of its new land transport service through Lekki Port in Nigeria.

More recently, CMA CGM announced a new dedicated rail service connecting Valencia with the industrial and logistics zone of Murcia in Spain.
