According to reports, the containership considers energy efficiency and environmental factors. It has complete balanced twisted bulb rudders, a pre-swirl fin, and achieves the maximum degree of Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) criteria for phase III in advance.

All ships supplied are marked with “Smart Ship” notations.

WAN HAI A05 and WAN HAI A06 are scheduled for delivery in mid-October and mid-December 2023, respectively, and will be used for Far East-to-America services.

Two months later, Wan Hai Lines Ltd. announced the completion of a 10-year NT$3 billion ($95 million) sustainability-linked shipping financing agreement with Standard Chartered Bank.
