Port Avilés grants Prodevelop maintenance of PCS

Prodevelop, a Valencian company, has won the tender for the evolution and maintenance of the Port Community System (PCS) of the Port Authority of Avilés.

Prodevelop has won the tender for the evolution and maintenance of the Port Community System (PCS) of the Port Authority of Avilés.

The project will reportedly focus on the deployment of certain PCS modules, covering crucial areas such as water and power supply requests, fuel supply, and other vessel service requests.

In addition, comprehensive maintenance will be performed, including corrective, preventative, evolutionary, and perfective elements. Prodevelop will also give assistance with the operation and exploitation of the PCS environment.

Santiago Rodríguez, President of the PA of Avilés, said: “Having Prodevelop for the evolution and maintenance of our PCS is synonymous with peace of mind for us. Their 30 years experience guarantees the quality of their work and their know-how.”

In November 2023, Prodevelop presented the results of its Posidonia Port CDM, the result of a collaboration with Puertos del Estado and the Port Authority of the Bay of Algeciras (APBA).

More recently, Prodevelop obtained a new AWS FTR certification for one of its products, Posidonia Operations.
