Maersk Names New Chief Financial Officer

A.P. Møller – Mærsk has announced that Carolina Dybeck Happe will assume responsibility as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective no later than 1 January 2019.

She comes from a position as CFO of ASSA ABLOY, the global leader in door opening solutions.

Soren Skou, CEO, A.P. Møller – Mærsk A/S, said: “Carolina Dybeck Happe brings significant experience from a company with a strong organic and acquisition growth record.

“In her tenure as CFO, Carolina Dybeck Happe has created substantial shareholder value, successfully streamlined processes and driven the digital agenda in a well-reputed, global company.

“She draws on a skill set that will benefit our organization and continued business transformation. I look forward to welcoming Carolina Dybeck Happe to A.P. Møller – Mærsk A/S.”

As CFO of ASSA ABLOY, Carolina Dybeck Happe played a key role in the company’s development from a regional player to its current global leading position with annual sales of US$ 8 billion and 47,000 employees.

Prior to Carolina Dybeck Happe’s current position, she held various finance leadership positions in ASSA ABLOY from 2002-2011 and also served as Chief Financial Officer of Trelleborg from 2011-2012.

She holds an MSc in Finance & Administration from University of Uppsala, Sweden.
