CMA CGM alter peak season surcharge from India West Coast to East Coast South America

CMA CGM has agreed to adjust the Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) from India’s West Coast to South America’s East Coast.

This comes five months after CMA CGM announced changes to its services connecting Europe with the East Coast of South America.

The revised surcharge will be $150 per container, applicable solely to dry cargo, and will be in force from 13 August through 15 September 2023.

In May 2023, CMA CGM Group granted a put option to Bolloré Group for the sale of Bolloré Logistics, its transport and logistics operations.

One month later, CMA CGM announced a rescheduling of its Turkey Med Express 1.2 service (TMX1.2), which will include Gebze, Turkey in the rotation as well as Djen Djen, Algeria in place of Bejaia.

More recently, CMA CGM upgraded its service rail in Germany to serve the Ruhr region, in particular Duisburg and vicinity.
