The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and Ulsan Port Authority have announced the successful completion of STS green methanol delivery to a 16,000 TEU containership at Ulsan Port in South Korea.
This is projected to not only strengthen Korean ports’ global position as a sustainable marine fuelling destination, but also to stimulate the future expansion of Korea’s sustainable marine fueling business.
The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and the Ulsan Port Authority stated that they will continue to upgrade related systems, such as establishing standard operating procedures for methanol supply, as well as collaborate with the private sector to ensure the economic viability of sustainable marine fuel supply.
