QTerminals Group has purchased a controlling position in Kramer Holding B.V., a supplier of integrated logistics and container services based in the Port of Rotterdam.
The purchase of Kramer Group represents a major milestone in QTerminals’ development, as the Port of Rotterdam is Europe’s largest port, and represents QTerminals Group diversifying its activities.
The Group said that this acquisition underlines further its commitment to contributing to Qatar National Vision 2030, which aspires to diversify the national economy and attract international investment.

The CEO of QTerminals, Neville Bissett, stated: “Kramer Group is an important strategic step for QTerminals as we will expand our presence into Europe’s largest port.
“Kramer Group complements QTerminals and adds existing business, a robust value-creating service offering and European network to QTerminals portfolio.”
Kramer Group has both core and strategic importance to the Port of Rotterdam, as it supplements the port’s activities whilst having direct access to the deep-sea terminals of the Port of Rotterdam.

This month, the Port of Rotterdam implemented new tow-away regulations for improperly moored and anchored barges.
