Yara Clean Ammonia (YCA) and Greenko ZeroC, AM Green’s ammonia production subsidiary, have signed a term contract for the delivery of renewable ammonia from Phase 1 of the company’s ammonia production facility in Kakinada, India.
According to Yara, this term sheet and the following offtake agreement address the long-term supply of up to 50 per cent renewable ammonia from AM Green’s Phase 1 ammonia production facility in Kakinada.
By 2027, the facility will reportedly be able to generate and export renewable ammonia obtained from carbon-free energy 24/7.
Renewable ammonia and other sustainable fuels from AM Green’s platform will meet EU RFNBO and Renewable Energy Directive criteria.
