MSC reshuffles Far East to USA service

MSC has planned to change the port rotation of its Santana Service as part of its ongoing efforts to simplify its services for enhanced transit times and schedule dependability.

This comes two months after the shipping company added a direct call at Ennore, India on the westbound leg of its Australia Express Service (AEX).

Effective from the sailing of the first vessel MSC Vilda X, voyage number UX326X, the revised rotation will be:

Haiphong – Shanghai – Ningbo – Busan – Manzanillo – Cristobal – Caucedo – Port Everglades – Baltimore.

According to the company, there are no changes to transit times as a result of the revised rotation.

In May, MSC announced plans to make adjustments to its Asia to Canada West Coast sailing programme.

More recently, the Port of Halifax welcomed its fifth MSC Service with the arrival of the MSC Elma to PSA Halifax Atlantic Hub.
