Maersk has announced the removal of the Port of Ningbo in China from its Asia – Latin America, AC2 service rotation (Sunday window).
This decision was made as part of the Danish ocean carrier’s greater effort to improve its schedule reliability in the Asia – Latin America market.
“Coverage from Ningbo to Latin America will continue on a weekly basis via Maersk’s AC3 service (TUESDAY window) for cargo connections,” said Maersk in a released statement.
“Coverage from Latin America to Ningbo will also continue via our existing AC system,” Maersk added.
The 8,160 TEU CLIFFORD MAERSK will be the first container vessel which will sail under the updated rotation.
