Maersk has announced a change to the Arabian Star service rotation by structurally dropping the Doha Westbound call.
The newly revised rotation will take effect from week commencing 24 April 2023.
The change was done as a measure to optimise the schedule reliability of the Arabian Star on the Far East Asia to the Middle East network.
The current rotation of Arabian Star is Port Kelang – Singapore – Tanjung Pelepas – Jebel Ali – Doha – Hazira – Colombo.
The revised rotation of Arabian Star is Port Kelang – Singapore – Tanjung Pelepas – Jebel Ali – Hazira – Colombo.

Doha will be covered on the existing ME4 service and supplemented by alternative connections to the original service to avoid business disruption, according to Maersk.
The announcement comes less than a month after Maersk sold its logistics sites in Russia to IG Finance Development Limited.
