INTTRA has announced that Turkon Line is the latest regional carrier to join its growing network of container shippers.

Turkon, established in 1997 as a maritime transport service from Turkey, now covers eight locations across its home nation, the US and Europe.

Turkon’s service will be accessible to customers through the platform from INTTRA, the leading software and information provider for the ocean shipping industry, which includes booking requests, shipping instructions and a container track and trace function in its service.

Inna Kuznetsova, Karim Jumma and Peter Spellman, of INTTRA, discuss how AI can power growth in a recent Port Technology technical paper

INTTRA handles over 800,000 container orders on its platform each week, which accounts for over 25% of the ocean container trade worldwide.

In addition, INTTRA connects over 30,000 shipping companies across nearly 200 countries, with more than 60 leading carriers and over 150 software alliance partners using the service.

Inna Kuznetsova, President and COO of INTTRA, commented: “We are pleased to welcome Turkon to our growing network, connecting over 30,000 shipping companies to more than 60 carriers.

“We look forward to growing our partnership in e-commerce with Turkon, enabling a higher level of customer service and cost reductions as a result of digitalization.”
