Hapag-Lloyd announces increase in FAK rates

Hapag-Lloyd has announced that its ocean tariff rates for Freight All Kinds (FAK) between Far East and North Europe as well as the Mediterranean will increase in both directions.

The increase applies for cargo transported in 20’ and 40’ Dry containers, including High Cube equipment, and Reefer for sailings commencing on tariffing date 1 December, 2023.

In October 2023, Hapag-Lloyd and Brazilian shipping and waterway logistics business Norsul set up a new joint venture for container cabotage and feeder services.
