Sohar Port and Freezone has inked a sub-usufruct agreement with Marsa Liquefied Natural Gas LLC, a joint venture between Total Energies EP Oman Development B.V. and OQ, to establish an LNG liquefaction facility.

With a substantial investment of $1.6 billion and spanning 44.5 hectares of land, this project aims to showcase the region’s ambitious aim for an environmentally friendly and sustainable future.
