CMA CGM updates Turkey, Malta, Italy, France & Algeria service

CMA CGM’s Short Sea Lines Division has rescheduled its TMX 2 service between Turkey, Malta, Italy, France, and Algeria.

The company launched a redesigned weekly service from Gemlik to Salerno on 12 January 2024. This route aims to address the West Med to Algeria markets and provide a durable maritime bridge between Western Turkey and Salerno in four days.

The new TMX 2 service features a fleet with four vessels and 1,700 TEU nom.

The port rotation will have a weekly frequency and will rotate as follows:

Gemlik – Izmit – Ambarli – Aliaga – Malta – Salerno – Genoa – Marseille – Skikda 

This month, CMA CGM’s Short Sea Lines Division announced the reshuffling/merger of its TMX 3 and ADRINAF services between Turkey, Adriatic, Malta, and Libya, effective Week 2.

Additionally, CMA CGM and Air France-KLM announced that they would resign from their current agreements due to regulatory constraints.
