CMA CGM updates service connecting Europe with Indian Ocean & Australia

The CMA CGM Group has implemented contingency plans for services crossing the Suez Canal to ensure the safety of its vessels and crews amidst recent attacks on commercial ships in the Red Sea.

CMA CGM has announced that the NEMO Service would temporarily reroute through the Cape of Good Hope instead of traversing the Suez Canal.

The new NEMO Service features a direct fixed-day weekly service connecting Europe with Reunion, Mauritius & Australia (SB) and Australia with Singapore, Colombo & Ennore (NB).

According to CMA CGM, the revised rotation is the following:

This month, CMA CGM’s Short Sea Lines Division reshuffled the Tyrrex 2 service from Malta to Western Italy, Sicily, Malta, and Algeria.
