CMA CGM launches new US-South America new service

CMA CGM will launch a new service offering a direct connection between US East Coast and West Coast South America.

The AMERICAS XL service will kick off in December 2022.

Vessels deployed will be 100 per cent operated by CMA CGM with direct weekly connection from/to Port Everglades, Philadelphia and New York from/to Buenaventura, Guayaquil, Callao and San Antonio.

The service will also offer connection from/to US Gulf, East Coast South America, Mediterranean, North Europe via Kingston and Cartagena, and competitive transit time from West Coast South America to US designed for perishables and fresh fruit with minimum 500 plugs per vessel.

AMERICAS XL’s rotation will be as follows:

Port Everglades – Philadelphia – New York – Kingston – Buenaventura – Callao – San Antonio – Guayaquil – Cartagena – Port Everglades

The first northbound call will depart onboard the M/V DIMITRIS C – ETD from Callao on 20 December. The first southbound call will depart from Port Everglades on 8 January 2023.
