Wan Hai Lines has announced the launch of its new Asia – South America II (AS2) service, expanding its network in the North China and West Coast America Chile markets.
The latest offering from carrier will set sail from Ningbo on 13 July and will be serviced by a fleet of 10 vessels with a nominal capacity range of 3,000 – 4,250 TEU.
The full port rotation is as follows: Ningbo (China) – Shanghai (China) – Qingdao (China) – Busan (South Korea) – Manzanillo (Mexico) – Lazaro Cardenas (Mexico) – Puerto Quetzal (Guatemala) – Buenaventura (Colombia) – Valparaiso (Chile).
“Wan Hai Lines is confident that the new service will provide customers with better frequency and service coverage between China, Korea, and West Coast South America,” said the shipping line in a statement.
Wan Hai also recently launched its new South China – Vietnam and East India (C17) service.
A total of four 1,200 TEU container vessels will operate on this new weekly service.
According to Wan Hai, the launch will provide clients with better transit time and more operations. It will also strengthen the shipping line’s current services.
