Wan Hai Lines aims to expand its Asia and East India network with the launch of its South China – Vietnam and East India (CI7) service.
A total of four 1,200 TEU container vessels will operate on this new weekly service.
According to Wan Hai Lines, the launch will provide clients with better transit time and more operations. It will also strengthen the shipping line’s current services.
The port rotation is as follows: Haiphong (Vietnam) – Zhanjiang (China) – Nansha (China) – Cat Lai (Vietnam) – Port Klang (Malaysia) – Chennai (India) – Vizag (India) – Port Klang – Haiphong.
The voyage on this route will set sail from Haiphong on 27 March.
Earlier this year, Subic Bay International Terminals received the first call of Wan Hai’s consolidated Mindanao – Hong Kong – Taiwan (MHT) service.
The service called at the terminal in December 2021 after the earlier MHT service integrated with the shipping line’s Subic Express service.
