Veson Nautical (Veson) and Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited (GESCo) have announced the successful go-live of Veson’s IMOS Platform, a solution for commercial freight contract management and voyage execution.
As part of the implementation, the companies also jointly developed a custom accounting interface with the Indian Government’s invoicing portal, assisting in seamless regulatory compliance and integration with financial operations.
The IMOS Platform offers a suite of features designed to streamline commercial freight contract management and voyage execution. By integrating seamlessly with Great Eastern’s existing technology stack, IMOS creates a centralised data hub that fosters collaboration across departments and delivers operational efficiency, increased customer satisfaction, and valuable business insights.
Additionally, the implementation supports Great Eastern’s ability to make faster, data-informed decisions, which Veson calls a decision advantage. By providing access to clean, contextualised data in real time, the IMOS Platform reportedly empowers commercial teams to respond to dynamic market conditions with greater clarity, agility, and confidence.
“In today’s ever-changing workplace, it’s crucial to have technology that can evolve as quickly as your business,” said Ankush Gupta, Chief Operating Officer, Great Eastern Shipping.
“We expect IMOS to play a vital role in driving this agility. IMOS will not only improve existing business processes, but also unlock new solutions to address emerging needs, ultimately enhancing productivity and profitability.”
