CM Labs Simulations will showcase its latest port quayside and yard training solutions at TOC Europe 2018.
At the container supply chain event in Rotterdam, the port crane simulation-based training solution provider will highlight the safety and productivity improvements of Vortex port simulators for terminals and training organizations.
CM Labs will be demonstrating its all-new internal transfer vehicle (ITV) and forklift simulator training packs.
The two training packs expand the breadth of Vortex-powered solutions, which can now simulate every step of the port workflow — from ship loading/unloading to horizontal transport to yard management.
Nicolae Sterescu, CM Labs’ Port Solutions Product Manager, said: “Terminal operators are realizing major returns on investments made in measurable simulation-based training.
“Simply put, better-trained operators have fewer incidents and move more cargo.”

CM Labs will have its full line-up of port equipment training packs available to test drive at TOC, including quayside cranes, stacking equipment, and transport vehicles.
In Rotterdam, CM Labs will offer TOC attendees the opportunity to experience operating the Vortex Port Equipment Training Packs on industry-proven three and ten-screen Vortex simulator platforms.
