Moreno joined the port in 2006 as a Community Affairs Advocate, serving Wilmington stakeholders.
During her time at the port, she has established herself as a Harbour Area leader. She founded the Wilmington Neighbourhood Council and has served on the boards of the Wilmington YMCA, Friends of Banning’s Landing, and the Harbour Division Community-Police Advisory Board.
Moreno was recently named Volunteer of the Year by the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce after serving on the Board of Directors for more than 20 years, many of them as a Board Member. Moreno takes over for Theresa Adams-Lopez, who left the port earlier this year.
