Pacific International Lines (PIL) has added extra port calls to its Gulf China Service (GCS) – expanding its coverage of China and the Gulf area in the Middle East.
The service, which was initially launched in November 2021, will now also call at the Ports of Shanghai and Singapore.
PIL’s GCS offering aims to provide customers with a more direct and efficient connection between Central and South China to the Gulf area in the Middle East.
According to the carrier, these additional stops will provide customers with a greater variety of options to ship with PIL from China to the Gulf and vice versa.
The revised port rotation is as follows: Ningbo (China) – Nansha (China) – Shekou (China) – Jebel Ali (UAE) – Dammam (Saudi Arabia) – Singapore – Shanghai
The enhanced GCS service will commence from 20 June 2022.
In April this year, the company also announced the launch of its new Singapore Surabaya Express (SSE) service.
The weekly product aims to enhance PIL’s connectivity within and beyond Asia and expand its presence in Indonesia.
