DP World, Youredi team up for ocean carrier data sharing

DP World, Youredi form partnership for ocean carrier data sharing

Youredi, a leading provider of data connectivity services and solutions for logistics and the global supply chain, has announced a new partnership with DP World.

This partnership is slated to empower DP World with Youredi’s innovative Carrier Connectivity Service, enabling integration between Cargoes Flow (DP World’s enterprise tracking tool for intermodal shipments) and selected carriers through a modern API endpoint.

The centralised access point to the carriers’ data reportedly enables the company to enhance visibility into specific ocean carriers and ensure the efficiency of their ocean freight operations.

Youredi’s service is a fully managed solution crafted to cater to the connectivity needs of each customer, reported the solutions provider. Driven by Youredi’s robust iPaaS technology, Youredi guarantees its around-the-clock operation, facilitating a smooth and uninterrupted flow of data between stakeholders.

The scalable nature of the service allows for limitless carrier connections, providing flexibility for future expansion.

“We are thrilled about this partnership,” said Geesche Laksola, Chief Product Officer at Youredi.

“By joining forces with us, DP World not only enhances its ocean carrier connectivity capabilities, but also embraces the global trend of opting for modern and advanced solutions over legacy platforms and building DIY connectivity.”

Earlier this week, DP World launched a new Air Tracking feature to its SeaRates platform to provide cargo owners with real-time visibility across the entire supply chain.

More recently, DP World established a partnership with Malaysia’s Sabah Ports Sdn. Bhd to manage Sapangar Bay Container Port (SBCP).
