Peel Ports has welcomed the inaugural call of the new MSC Britannia service, operating between the UK’s North West and the Far East.
The MSC Tokyo arrived at Liverpool from Vietnam, having left China, on the service’s debut voyage.
The upgraded network is intended to improve services and transit times between Asia and North Europe by adding additional port pairs and adjusting to the current issues of port congestion in Europe.
