ONE Launches New Ship

Ocean Network Express’ (ONE) first container ship, the ONE Minato, has launched from Imabari Shipbuilding in Japan – as business operations have commenced as of April 1, 2018.

The video, released by ONE, shows the ship being prepared, christened and finally launched from the shipyard.

The ONE Minato, originally commissioned in a batch of ships for K-Line (one of three companies forming ONE Line), has a 14,000 TEU capacity.

Along with the ONE Minato, the ONE fleet is set to have a combined capacity of 1,440,00 TEU with 250 vessels.

Recently, ONE CEO Jeremy Nixon gave a video message outlining ONE’s vision and strategy, thanking customers for their “support and belief”.
