The vessel dropped anchor at Port Said around 12.01 am (UTC) on 7 December for a detailed Underwater Inspection for assessment of the vessel’s condition, which is planned for 8 December.

Reports about ships getting trapped in the Suez Canal aren’t uncommon. The most notable incident occurred in March 2021, involving Evergreen’s Ever Given.

Maersk recently reached an agreement related to the six-day blockage caused by this incident.
