Ocean Network Express (ONE) has announced the launch of a new weekly Israel shuttle service, the Israel Express (ILX).
The new service will connect Israel to the hub of Damietta in Egypt and is expected to provide better transit times between the two regions while offering transportation access to other global locations across ONE’s network.
The first sailing for the ILX service is scheduled for 29 March and will operate with the following rotation:
Damietta (Wed/Thu) –Haifa (Sat/Sun)– Ashdod (Tue/Wed)– Damietta (Wed).
As per ONE’s announcement, the service comes is response to growing demand for import and export cargo from Israel.
The company saw a net profit of $2.77 billion, down 50 per cent from the record $5.52 billion reported in Q2 FY22 and a 43 per cent drop compared to the same quarter in FY21.
