Navis, a Cargotec company specializing in operational technologies, has announced that submissions are now being accepted for the 2019 Navis Inspire Awards.
According to a statement, the Navis Inspire Awards recognize excellence throughout the shipping supply chain, as well as celebrating terminal operators and ocean carriers using Navis’ solutions to innovate and optimize.
Navis has encouraged all of its customers, including terminal operators, ocean carriers, vessel owners and port authorities, to apply.

In 2019, the Inspire Awards will include prizes for ‘Terminal Operations Optimization’ and ‘Vessel Performance’, rewarding companies which have promoted efficiency, productivity and safety through their operations.
Another award will be given for ‘Innovation’, celebrating those companies which have implemented new technologies and processes connected with Navis software.
Navis has also expressed its desire to foster a more connected shipping environment, offering an award for ‘Collaboration Across the Container Flow’ to businesses which have improved their operational performance through better collaboration and transparency.

In addition to this, an ‘Individual Achievement’ award will be offered to recognize outstanding customers who have made a significant contribution to drive the industry forward.
All submissions must be received by December 31, 2018, with the winners to be revealed at the company’s 12th biennial user conference, Navis World 2019, from March 25-28, 2019.
