Navis Connect 2021, a virtual abridged version of Navis World, will bring together several industry experts to discuss key topics in the supply chain industry on November 9-11. Attendees will have the opportunity to virtually participate in over 40 live and interactive breakout sessions and visit tech lounges that aim to address and discuss unique challenges that the industry has faced and conquered over the last 18 months.

The agenda offers a robust line up of thought-provoking keynotes and panel discussions highlighting topical industry themes such as cloud operations, sustainability, and cybersecurity. Participants then have the option to attend different sessions from product updates to case-studies offering them a chance to select a path that interests them the most.

Keynote speakers include product leads at Navis, as well as a session from Kaleris. During the rail session, Patrick Ottensmeyer, CEO at Kansas City Southern (KCS), and John Orr, VP of Operations at KCS, will facilitate a thorough conversation on the impact of rail on the modern supply chain. Bonnie Nixon, ESG Strategic Advisor, will share insights on what’s working and what isn’t in the industry’s collective efforts to address sustainability during the session “Seismic Shifts for a Sustainable Future.” During “Cyber Security: Staying Resilient and Protected from Cyber Threats through Proactive Leadership,” Abhishek Agarwal, CISO of Fresenius Medical Care NA, will discuss the cyber security environment including managing cloud security and other technologies.
