MSC steps up Trans-Pacific service

MSC has announced it will launch its new Pertiwi service on the Intra-Asia network.

The latest offering from the carrier will set sail from early July and will provide customers with a direct link from North China and Korea to South-East Asia.

The first sailing will be the Cardiff Trader which is expected to arrive at Busan on 8 July 2022.

The full port rotation is as follows: Busan (South Korea) – Qingdao (China) – Incheon (South Korea) – Dalian (China) – Tianjin Xingang (China) – Vung Tau (Vietnam) – Laem Chabang (Thailand) – Singapore – Tanjung Pelepas (Malaysia) – Jakarta (Indonesia) – Panjang (Indonesia) – Singapore – Tanjung Pelepas – Busan

MSC’s Florida Gulf Feeder service also recently made its inaugural call at JAXPORT.

The Reet II container ship docked at the SSA Jacksonville Container Terminal (JCT) on 26 April.

The service connects Jacksonville to major transshipment hubs in the Dominican Republic and The Bahamas.
