MSC Levante Express Returns to Naples with Direct Call

MSC has announced it is changing the port rotation of its Levante Express service to meet market demands.

The present Naples Shuttle Service will be replaced by the Levante Express service, which will no longer call at Gioia Tauro on its northern section.

Gioia Tauro, on the other hand, will remain well-connected to MSC’s worldwide service network.

MSC AZOV, journey 330R, ETA Naples on 2 August 2023, will be the first vessel on the new rotation.

Transit times from Naples to London Gateway are eight days, and six days from La Spezia. Transit times from Naples to Rotterdam are 10 days, and eight days from La Spezia.

The revised rotation of Levante Express service will be as follows:

London Gateway – Rotterdam – Antwerp – Valencia – Gioia Tauro – Alexandria El Dekheila – Beirut – Mersin – Naples – La Spezia – London Gateway

In June 2023, MSC announced a port rotation modification on its Chinook Service as part of its ongoing efforts to simplify services for enhanced transit times and schedule dependability.

More recently, MSC’s largest container ship was named ‘MSC Michel Cappellini’ at the Stromkaje Terminal in Bremerhaven, Germany.
