MSC adds new call on Chinook service

Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has announced the addition of a port call at Qingdao, China, on the Chinook service.  

The addition of Qingdao will offer a direct call and competitive transit times, opening new lines for MSC between China and the US Midwest via Tacoma, and into Canada.

The first sailing from Qingdao will start on 21 December with MSC DEILA, voyage number UK151A.  

The revised port rotation will be as follows: Yantian – Shanghai – Qingdao –Busan – Tacoma – Vancouver – Yantian.

Earlier this month the Port of Hamburg was integrated into MSC’s feeder service operating between the United Kingdom and several Baltic Sea ports.

Four containerships with capacities ranging between 2,000 TEU and 3,500 TEU will be deployed in the Baltic Loop 3 service and will are set to call at Wilhelmshaven (Germany), Bremerhaven (Germany), Hamburg (Germany), Portbury (UK), Liverpool (UK), Greenock (UK), Le Havre (France), Antwerp (Belgium), Tallinn (Estonia), and Riga (Latvia).
