Meet our Partners for CTAC Asia 2025: RBS
Port Technology International’s Container Terminal Automation Conference (CTAC) is heading to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 8 – 9 September 2025, marking its debut in Asia and uniting a vibrant new community of ports and terminals.
Ahead of the event, we spoke with our partners at Envision to discuss how they support Asian terminal operators amid growth, automation, and geopolitical challenges.

How is Envision helping ports and terminals navigate the increasing complexities of today’s maritime logistics landscape?

Ports and terminals today face an increasingly complex and rapidly evolving maritime logistics environment. Envision addresses these challenges with tailored digital solutions designed to cut through complexity and elevate operational excellence.

The Container Terminal Operating System (CTOS) is central to this transformation, introducing automation, real-time visibility, and intelligent decision-making across functions like yard planning, gate processing, and vessel turnaround. With CTOS, terminals can operate with greater speed, agility, and intelligence.

Beyond CTOS, our broader suite—including GTOS, PCS, PMIS, Smart Ports, and Depot Management—creates a connected ecosystem that enhances efficiency, sustainability, and adaptability. These solutions empower stakeholders to not only keep pace with change but to lead through it.

Envision has partnered with various ports and terminals globally. Could you share a success story where your solutions led to significant improvements in operational efficiency or customer satisfaction?

We supported a leading global terminal operator that selected CTOS for its small and medium-sized terminals. One notable success story unfolded at a site in West Africa, where we rolled out the solution swiftly, delivering advanced functionality at a highly cost-effective price.

The system, which has now been in use for over two years, includes 3D planning, billing, and mobile modules, significantly enhancing both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Recognising the unique pressures small and medium-sized terminals face, we’ve tailored our offerings to help them harness the power of digital transformation without the overhead of large-scale platforms.

How does Envision plan to expand its presence in the global market, and what strategies are in place to address the unique challenges of different regions?

Our global expansion is grounded in localisation, strategic partnerships, and adaptive technology. Each region presents distinct challenges—from infrastructure and regulatory variations to workforce dynamics—and we tailor solutions to meet those needs.

CTOS and our other platforms are modular and flexible, supporting on-premises, cloud, or hybrid deployment models depending on a terminal’s digital maturity and strategic goals.

Our customer-first approach emphasises collaboration. We work closely with clients to co-create value, and our expanding partner network across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America combines global expertise with local insight.

This strategy enables technically robust, culturally aligned deployments that deliver meaningful, market-specific impact.

Why is CTAC Asia an important event for you and your clients?

CTAC Asia is more than an industry event—it’s a vital forum for innovation in maritime and container logistics. It offers an opportunity to connect with port authorities, terminal operators, and logistics leaders who are shaping the future of global trade.

We’ll use this platform to showcase our latest solutions, exchange ideas, and explore partnerships that foster mutual growth. For our clients, it’s a unique chance to experience emerging technologies, trends, and best practices that are redefining terminal operations.

CTAC Asia encourages conversations and collaborations that drive smarter, more connected port ecosystems—and we’re proud to contribute to that momentum.

What are you most looking forward to at this year’s CTAC Asia?

We’re eager to reconnect in person with our global community of clients, partners, and peers. What excites us most is the opportunity to highlight how digital transformation is delivering real-world impact across port and terminal operations.

CTAC Asia blends visionary dialogue with practical exchanges. It’s a space to not only share what’s possible but also co-create what’s next. We look forward to open discussions and unexpected collaborations that often spark innovation and accelerate progress.

Are there any new developments, features, or case studies you’ll be showcasing at CTAC Asia?

We’ll be unveiling the latest version of CTOS, specifically designed for small and medium-sized container terminals. This new release offers enhanced functionality while remaining easy to deploy and cost-efficient.

We’re also excited to present our Terminal Digital Twin solution, which integrates IoT and predictive maintenance tools to optimise equipment performance in real time.

These innovations reflect our ongoing commitment to solving industry challenges with scalable, practical technologies.

What’s your message to industry leaders attending CTAC Asia this year?

In today’s fast-evolving maritime landscape, digitalisation isn’t optional—it’s essential. The leaders who will shape the future are those embracing data-driven decisions, collaboration, and sustainable innovation as core strategic principles.

At Envision, we don’t just provide solutions; we aim to contribute to the industry ecosystem through thought leadership and meaningful engagement.

CTAC Asia is the perfect venue for transforming challenges into opportunities and technology into real-world results. We look forward to meaningful conversations with forward-thinking leaders who are ready to navigate the future together.
