A.P. Moller – Maersk (Maersk) has rebranded Visible SCM to Maersk E-Commerce Logistics, effective as of 18 March.
This marks the final step of its acquisition of the B2C firm. The definitive transaction agreements for the $838 million deal were signed on 28 June 2021.
Visible became a Maersk company in October last year.
The logistic company’s subsidiary brands PC Synergy and TriCon will also officially retire, and its nine fulfillment centres and several corporate offices across North America will physically rebrand their facilities to Maersk.

Narin Phol, Regional Managing Director of Maersk North America, added: “The team at Visible is vital to realising Maersk’s vision for simplified and connected supply chains.
“Visible’s integration into Maersk represents yet another level of opportunity for customers to optimise their supply chains for competitive advantage on a global scale.”
By fully integrating Visible SCM into Maersk’s E-Commerce Logistics (ECL) portfolio, customers will be able to utilise its E-Delivery and E-Fulfilment products.
Charles van der Steene, Head of Sales & Marketing for Maersk North America, also commented: “With the complete integration and development of Maersk ECL, we will extend our integrated logistics offering deeper into our customers’ supply chains under one brand which ultimately helps our customers associate Maersk with an end-to-end logistics experience from factory to sofa.”
Last month, Maersk also acquired Pilot Freight Service (Pilot), further extending its integrated logistics offering.
The move aimed to complement the previous takeovers of Performance Team and Visible SCM.
