An infographic by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) has released an infographic showing the top 20 top in this part of the world.
According to the ECLAC, cargo volumes grew by 1.3% to an approximate total of 47 million TEU, with the infographic displaying the results of this ranking.
The largest port is shown as being the Port of Balboa in Panama, which handled more than 3.4 million TEU in 2014.
The Latin American region is still up-and-coming, and terminal operators such as APM Terminals have recently announced its intention to operate and managa a multi-purpose terminal in Categena, Colombia.
