This update comes a month after the shipping company announced that Joerg Sonne will become Senior Managing Director Region North Europe, succeeding Martin Rolf, who will take over the position of Managing Director Human Resources.

More recently, ExxonMobil signed an agreement to supply Hapag-Lloyd with B30 marine biofuel oil in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) region.
