Evergreen International Storage & Transport Corporation, part of Evergreen Group, is targeting the international logistics market with its inland container terminal after serving customers exclusively in Taiwan.
As part of its strategy, Evergreen International Storage & Transport Corporation has received a delivery of five rubber-tyred gantry (RTG) cranes from Kalmar, part of Cargotec, at the Taoyuan Inland Container Terminal and Hsichih Inland Container Terminal.
The five new RTGs were delivered from Kalmar's joint venture Rainbow-Cargotec Industries in Taicang, China, and will join an existing fleet of six Kalmar empty container handlers at the terminal.

As well as lifting operations and warehousing, Evergreen International Storage & Transport Corporation’s services include control, cleaning and repairing of inbound and outbound containers.
Hung Ping Kun, Chairman, Evergreen International Storage & Transport Corporation, said: “Our branch in Thailand is also using Kalmar RTGs, thus we believe the new Kalmar fleet will help us to reach our operational goals and at the same time boost efficiency and productivity of container moves at the terminals.”
