CMA CGM enhances North Europe-South America connection

CMA CGM Group will improve its SAFRAN service connecting North Europe with East Coast South America to improve schedule reliability.

The carrier will add a ninth vessel into the service with effect 15 November ex Antwerp.

At the same time, the southbound call in Tanger will be reinstated, allowing smooth transfer of cargoes from North Europe to ports served on the Med service SIRIUS calling in Salvador, Rio Grande, Itajai and Itapoa.

The new rotation of SAFRAN will be as follows:

London, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Tanger, Santos, Paranagua, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Paranagua, Santos, Tanger, London.

Last week, CMA CGM announced the launch of its new MEDGULF service, offering a full coverage from West Med to US Gulf and Mexico.

The service starts from end of September 2022.
