CEVA Logistics has expanded its sustainable transport offerings with a new low-carbon ocean freight service between France and Ivory Coast, using marine biofuel to offer greener shipping options to West Africa.
Powered by marine biofuel, CEVA Logistics’ new weekly less than a container load (LCL) service connects Rouen, Marseille, Lyon, and Abidjan, combining consistent, reliable departures with a dramatically lower environmental impact.
Due to a major investment in marine biofuels, the service cuts CO2 emissions by up to 84 per cent compared to traditional ocean freight — offering a compelling solution for businesses seeking both efficiency and sustainability.

Available for all cargo types, the decarbonised service offers weekly departures and a 24-day transit time between Rouen and Abidjan, setting a new standard for low-carbon shipping to West Africa.
The new low-carbon LCL ocean freight service between France and Ivory Coast is part of CEVA FORPLANET, providing customers with more sustainable logistics options.
