Bollard Load Testing (BLT) has been selected as the winner of the Tyneside Innovation Award and further shortlisted for the overall North East Business Innovation Award.
The multiple award winning BLT equipment launched in 2015 has now completed projects to test the safe working load of marine bollards in many Ports, Shipyards and even a fish farm.

Projects have taken place across the UK in North East locations as well as several in London, Liverpool, Bristol, Southampton, Scotland and Ireland.

BLT Nigeria has been appointed to deliver the service initially in Nigeria with plans to expand further afield as the new business formed by Tiger Shipping.
PTI previously reported that BLT had won an award for innovation at the Seaworks 2015 for the Marine, Civil Engineering and Construction Sector.
