Gibraltar Stockholdings (TGS), a specialist distributor of Toyota vehicles, has expanded its partnership with APM Terminals (APMT) to ensure the safe and timely delivery of Toyota vehicles at their destination.
This is an extension of Maersk’s service and the outcome of experience at APMT Algeciras, where the crew has crammed containers and loaded 3,000 vehicles every year on average since 2004.

Following the success of the experience, APMT is reportedly looking for ways to expand these capabilities across its network, allowing even more cars to reach their destinations in the most distant parts of the world.
APMT Valencia was the most recent terminal to join the programme, having begun loading cars that do not require pitting for equipment repairs in December 2023.
Earlier in January, the terminal operator announced a new online gateway to help shipping companies manage hazardous cargo documents more efficiently.
