APMT extends leadership in the Americas and Mexico region

APM Terminals (APMT) has appointed Marliz Bermúdez as the new Head of Investments for the Americas Region and Beatriz Yera as Managing Director for APMT in Mexico.

The move is expected to increase logistics and commercial capacity in the area, as well as chances for recruiting investments resulting from nearshoring inside the North American trade bloc.

Bermudez has worked in both liner and terminal sectors for the past 17 years, holding various operational, commercial, and project implementation responsibilities.

Recently, APMT Callao announced that it is on pace to reduce emissions by 36 per cent in 2024, 55 per cent in 2030, and 100 per cent by 2040.
