Adani Gangavaram Port has exceeded all previous records and attained its highest monthly handling throughput of 4 metric tonnes (MMT) in January 2024.
This bests its previous monthly cargo record of 3.51 MMT, set in June 2023.
The port’s performance may be attributed to significant investments in cargo handling infrastructure and railway facilities. The port hopes to achieve new operational records and provide industry-leading services to its clients.

Adani Gangavaram Port Limited management said: “We are extremely delighted to see the remarkable performance achieved by our team. We are confident that the port will scale new heights in future.
“We will continue to make strategic investments for capacity enhancement. Integrated warehousing, cargo handling equipment and technology will be further strengthened in this year.”
In October 2023, Adani Gangavaram Port announced the enhancement of infrastructure facilities at the premises by inducting new cargo handling equipment.
