AD Ports' Noatum launches robotic cold chain in Portugal
Noatum Logistics, part of AD Ports Group, has opened its first robotically assisted refrigerated warehouse in Lisbon to support the Group’s expanding logistics operations in the West Mediterranean.

The 12,000 square metres (sqm) facility uses advanced robotic stacking technology and offers integrated end-to-end cold chain solutions for industries such as food and beverage, FMCG, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals.

This launch is part of Noatum Logistics’ broader rollout of cold chain hubs to meet rising demand in Portugal and the strategically important West Mediterranean region.

H.E. Ahmed Abdelrahman AlMahmoud, UAE Ambassador to Portugal, said: “The launch of AD Ports Group’s Noatum Logistics’ warehousing hub in Lisbon reflects the strengthening ties between the UAE and Portugal, which are rooted in a common vision for a brighter future.

“We continue to build on that legacy by fostering prosperity through enabling trade, developing lasting partnerships, and creating opportunities for all.”

Samir Chaturvedi, CEO of Noatum Logistics, stated: “The opening of this reefer facility in Portugal, a first for Noatum Logistics worldwide, is part of our global value proposition.”

Recently, AD Ports Group signed several agreements to expand its operations in Kazakhstan.
