1-Stop Connections (1-Stop) has collaborated with Fletcher International Exports (Fletcher), one of Australia's most integrated processors and exporters of lamb and sheep meat products, to implement a system that manages its freight operations.
Fletcher will be using 1-Stop’s newest solution on the 1-Stop Port Community Platform, 1-Stop Modal, and will expand to using all five cores of Modal by the end of 2018, including bookings, inventory management, reporting, maintenance and repair and an enhanced rail interface.
According to 1-Stop, by using Modal’s rail functionality, Fletcher will streamline processes and improve the information flow for their export packing requirements.
Fletcher will achieve this through Modal providing clearer rail visibility, which will drive supply chain benefits to the wider NSW regional community and assist to allow better access to global markets for Australian grown products.

Modal features include real-time coordination, automation and connection with all customers in the supply chain.
The system is also backwards compatible to allow existing customers to move from the traditional EDI to a real time communication over time, while being Blockchain enabled.
