Chinese-state port equipment manufacturer ZPMC has announced that its newly designed six-layer-high reachstacker is on its way to PSA Singapore.
In an online update the company described the reachstacker as a “customised product” spcifically designed for PSA Singapore’s requirements.
Additionally, it said the reachstacker has an upgraded lifting capacity of six layers, a FOPS-certified cabin with and assistant driver seat, a new-generation transmission and a full set of video system.
“At ZPMC, we always take our customers as the top priority and strive to meet and satisfy your needs,” it said.
“From product to maintenance, from on-site operation to after-sales service, ZPMC provides you with all-around care at every stage.”
It is the latest achievement from ZPMC, which has continued to develop new technological solutions and meet demand despite the challenges and limitations placed brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In September it announced it had developed the ZPMC Al-Strad an AI-enabled, autonomous straddle carrier, and that it would be equipped with the latest Autonomous Driving System.
Later in the same month it sent four units of dual-trolley Automated Quayside Container Gantry Cranes (QCs) to Singapore as part of the development of the Tuas mega-port.
